 ‘The lightbulb moment’

The Hope4Malawi podcast began as a simple idea between friends, Sara and Sherry, both charity trustees. They recognised the potential of a podcast to reach a wider audience and share the inspiring stories they encounter through their work.

The vision was to create something honest and accessible, hopefully providing a space for listeners to hear directly from those involved in making a difference for those living in poor, rural communities, as well as from the individuals and communities whose lives are being transformed,” says Sherry.

To help bring this vision to life, everyone involved shared their passion, perspective and warmth.

Special thanks go to producer Olly, whose calm approach, technical expertise, and creative guidance helped to shape our ideas into something tangible.

We all worked together to develop a deeply personal podcast that shares stories of kindness, resilience, and hope, offering listeners a deeper connection to the mission at the heart of Hope4Malawi.”
