A fun-filled Quiz Night fundraiser, hosted by comedian Tim Vine, was held at St Paul’s Church Centre in Cheam, Surrey, on February 1.

Twenty-nine teams packed the centre to put their thinking caps on, buoyed by Tim’s brilliant comedy one-liners.

The teams battled it out across seven rounds, including Library Books, Green Issues, a movie and music round, a picture round, and Back to School, which covered subjects like geography, history, science, languages and Bible knowledge and a memory round based on a video about Mafunde Primary, a Hope4Malawi feeder school.

Congratulations to the winning ‘Blessed with Knowledge’ team on their 96 points. The ‘Muzungu’ team was a close second with 93 points, and joint third were ‘Ptolemaic Inversion’ and ‘Wooden Spoon Winners’ with 86 points.

What a great night. Thank you to everyone who supported this event. The money raised will provide essential educational resources for children at Hope4Malawi’s feeder primary schools.
